Move or remove a player from a team

Reassign a player to another team, or take them off a roster.

Rosters change — a family switches teams, or a player drops for the season. Both are quick fixes.

Move a player to another team

1. Open Teams and open the team the player is on.
2. Find the player and use Move to pick their new team.
3. Confirm. They're removed from the old roster and added to the new one in one step.

Remove a player from a team

1. On the team's page, find the player and choose Remove.
2. This takes them off that roster only — it does not delete the player. They go back to the unassigned pool and can be placed on another team any time.

Good to know

• Removing a player from a team is safe and reversible; deleting a player entirely is a separate, deliberate action on Players.
• Moving a player keeps their history intact — you're changing their team, not creating a new person.
