Import players from a spreadsheet
Bulk-add players from a CSV instead of entering them one by one.
For league adminsIf you already have your players in a spreadsheet, you can bring them all in at once instead of adding them individually. The importer checks your file first and shows you a preview, so nothing is saved until you confirm.
Before you start
Have your player list in a spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets both work). You'll save it as a CSV file in a moment — the importer gives you a template so your columns line up.
Steps
- Open Players from the Roster menu.
- Choose Import to open the importer, then download the CSV template.
- Fill the template with your players — one row per player. Keep the header row.
- Save it as a
.csvfile (in Excel or Sheets: File → Save As / Download → CSV). - Back on the import page, upload your
.csvand review the preview. Rows with problems are flagged with a reason, and the good rows are still importable. - Fix any flagged rows in your spreadsheet if needed, re-upload, then confirm to finish. The players now appear in Players.
Tips
- You don't have to get every row perfect. A few bad rows won't block the good ones — you can import the clean rows now and fix the rest later.
- Assigning players to teams isn't part of the import — do that afterward from Teams or the roster builder.
- Re-importing the same file won't create duplicates of players who are already in your league.
