For coaches — getting started

New to LeagueWaves as a coach? Here's your first week.

Welcome, coach. LeagueWaves gives you everything for your team in one place — your roster, the schedule, and a direct line to your families. Here's how to get going.

1. Accept your invitation

The league invites you by email. Click the link and create an account or log in — see Accept an invitation to join. Once you're in, you'll see the team(s) you coach.

2. Check your roster

Open Teams and open your team to see your players and their guardians' contact info. You see your own team's roster; the rest of the league isn't your concern.

3. Look at the schedule

Open Schedule for your games and practices, and keep an eye on RSVPs so you know who's coming.

4. Message your team

Reach all your families at once with a team message (see Message your team), or post a one-way announcement for a quick heads-up like "bring water Saturday."

5. Stay notified

You'll get alerts and reminders automatically; fine-tune what reaches your inbox in Notifications and reminders.

That's the core of it — accept, check your roster and schedule, and message your team. Everything else is in the help center if you need it.
