Set field availability and blackout dates

Tell the scheduler when fields are open — and when nobody plays.

For league admins

The schedule generators only place practices and games into time you've marked as available. Two settings control that: each field's weekly availability and league-wide blackout dates.

Field availability (when a field is open)

  1. Open Fields and go to a field's availability.
  2. Add the windows the field is open each week, and mark whether each window is for games, practices, or both.
  3. Repeat per field. This is the raw time the scheduler has to work with, so the more accurate it is, the better your schedules come out.

Blackout dates (when nobody plays)

  1. Open Blackouts.
  2. Add the dates the whole league is off — holidays, tournaments, field closures.
  3. The scheduler skips these automatically, and they apply across every field.

Tips

  • A window marked for both games and practice can inflate your "game days" count — if that number surprises you, check which windows are game-eligible.
  • Set blackouts before you generate schedules so nothing has to be cleaned up after.
