Send a direct message
Have a private, one-to-one conversation with someone in your league.
When you need a private conversation — a parent asking a coach a question, or an admin following up with one person — a direct message is the way. It's one-to-one and stays between the two of you.
Steps
- Open Messages.
- Start a new message and choose the person.
- Write and send. They're notified, and the whole thread stays in one place.
Direct message vs. team message vs. announcement
- Direct message — private, one-to-one.
- Team message — the whole team's group conversation (see Message your team).
- Announcement — a one-way broadcast, no replies (see Post an announcement).
Good to know
- Who you can message depends on your role and league settings.
- If a conversation ever needs a league admin's attention, you can report it from the thread.
